The SmartKrete 3″ Concrete Diamond Polishing Pads 3mm are an excellent solution for the removal of scratches left behind by the metal bond grinding steps. They offer refined scratch pattern and long tool life. They are 3-inch, hook and loop-backed, and can be used on any floor grinder, using hook and loop-back. The SmartKrete 3mm Concrete Diamond Polishing Pads should be used WET only! Available in different grits and 3mm of thickness pads.

Grit

• 30: Used to grind
• 50: Used to grind and remove the scratches from the 30 grit pad
• 100: Used to grind and remove the scratches from the 50 grit pad
• 200: Used to grind and remove the scratches from the 100 grit pad.

After these pad the most popular alternative for polishing concrete & terrazzo are the Resin Polishing Pads

The higher grits are used for polishing granite:

• 400: Used to polish on granite after the 200 grit pad
• 800: Used to achieve a higher polish than 400 grit pad
• 1500: Used to achieve a higher polish than 800 grit pad
• 3000: Used to achieve the highest polish.

3. Polish with grits 400-3000 of the Resin Polishing Pads
4. Apply SmartKrete SmartGuard SP
5. Burnished with Hogs Hair Pads.
