Starbond Super Fast Thin Super Glue is an ultra-fast drying (3-5 seconds), water-thin super glue that delivers strong, lasting bonds. Also called “thin ca glue”, this versatile adhesive can be used in a variety of ways.
At just 2-3 cps viscosity, this adhesive is thinner than most competitors, making it perfect for wicking into tight spaces and hairline fractures through capillary action. For stabilizing applications, it quickly soaks into and reinforces porous objects like wood, fossils, and precious stones.
Using the Starbond precision tips, the thin glue can effectively bond semi-porous and non-porous surfaces with pinpoint accuracy while preventing a mess.
A small drop on white birch or balsa wood dries in just 3-5 seconds. On high surface energy plastics (like ones used in 3D printing) such as PLA, PETG, ABS, and TPU, the thin superglue can bond lightning fast (1-2 seconds).
CA Finishing Tip: Apply several coats, then sand and buff to a perfect shine.
Stabilizing Tip: To prevent the glue from soaking too much, spray Starbond Super Glue Accelerator before applying the thin glue.
